We offer several resources for childbirth education and to gain skills and confidence in being a new parent.
Self-paced Education and One-hour Consultation
Our virtual program of slides, videos, and quizzes covers an introduction to labor, relaxation and breathing techniques, baby care basics, breastfeeding, and more. In addition, you’ll have a one-hour consultation with our childbirth education instructor to address any questions or concerns. We recommend you sign up early in your third trimester and schedule the one-on-one phone session with our childbirth education instructor once you've completed and reviewed the material to best address any additional questions or concerns you may have.
Fee: This program is $150 and may be covered by your insurance (please check directly with your insurance carrier).
How to sign up:
- To begin registration, visit our childbirth education registration page.
- Click “Select A Date,” choose the date for the 1st of the upcoming month, and follow the payment instructions. Please note: Your date selection is for registration purposes only. You will complete the coursework at your own pace and do not need to access the program material on a specific date.
- Once you’ve registered, follow the steps in your confirmation email to set up your InJoy Health Education Learning Portal account. You will then have access to the program material for up to nine months.
- To schedule a one-on-one session by phone with a childbirth education instructor, email community@ehmchealth.org.
