Anil Agarwal, MD

Dr. Agarwal is board certified in gastroenterology and in internal medicine. His clinical interests include colon cancer screening and prevention, esophageal cancer, fatty liver disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and swallowing disorders. Dr. Agarwal received his MD from LLRM Medical College in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India, where he was a Gold Medalist. He did an internal medicine residency at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, in the Bronx, NY, and a gastroenterology and clinical nutrition fellowship at Westchester Medical Center (New York Medical College), in Valhalla, NY. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. In addition to English, Dr. Agarwal is fluent in Hindi.
