Catherine V. Laiosa, MD

Dr. Laiosa is an internal medicine physician at Leonia Medical Associates in Englewood and an attending physician in internal medicine at Englewood Hospital. She is also the hospice medical director for Visiting Nurse Association of Englewood, caring for patients with cancer and other advanced illnesses. Dr. Laiosa completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. During the fellowship, she had additional training in geriatric care. Prior to her medical training, she earned a research degree in developmental and molecular biology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In addition to providing preventative care such as risk-factor modification, she treats patients with hypertension, diabetes, Thyroid Disorderss, asthma, and common infections.
