About Celinés Morales-Ribeiro, MD
Dr. Morales-Ribeiro is a board certified surgeon specializing in bariatric and general surgery. She serves as the director of metabolic & bariatric surgery. She received her MD at SUNY Buffalo College of Medicine and completed a residency and fellowship in bariatric surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Her clinical interests include weight loss surgery for the treatment of morbid obesity and metabolic syndrome, a group of conditions that includes diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Dr. Morales-Ribeiro also has expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Morales-Ribeiro is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Surgery can be overwhelming , therefore, I aspire to provide innovative, comprehensive and compassionate personalized care for patients undergoing general and bariatric surgery. My goal is to help patients achieve and assure lifelong success.
