About Jennifer Marti, MD

Jennifer Marti, MD, FACS, is chief of breast surgery and medical director of the Breast Cancer Program at Englewood Hospital. Dr. Marti is a breast and endocrine surgical oncologist whose main clinical interests are benign and malignant conditions of the breast, including abnormal breast biopsies, ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), invasive breast cancer, and women with an elevated risk of breast cancer (e.g., BRCA genetic mutation carriers). She is also interested in the overdiagnosis and overtreatment of breast disease and prioritizes shared decision-making. Dr. Marti received her MD from NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She did a general surgery residency at NYU Langone Medical Center, a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and an endocrine surgery fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. She is an associate professor of surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to English, Dr. Marti is fluent in Spanish. She joined Englewood Health Physician Network in 2025.
