About Joseph Kim, MD
Dr. Kim specializes in complex general surgical oncology and hepatobiliary surgery. His clinical interests include tumors of the colon and rectum, gallbladder, adrenal glands, liver, pancreas, and stomach, as well as soft tissue sarcomas and melanoma. Additionally, he treats benign conditions of the liver and pancreas, and complex hepatobiliary disease. He has extensive experience in robotic surgery and advanced laparoscopic techniques. Dr. Kim received his MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed a general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital (Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai), in Manhattan, and did an abdominal transplant fellowship (liver and kidney transplant and hepatobiliary surgery) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine), in Chicago, followed by a complex general surgical oncology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Kim is a member of the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association. He joined Englewood Health Physician Network in 2024.
