Mahesh Bikkina, MD

Dr. Bikkina is an associate professor of medicine, as well as associate program director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program, at New York Medical College. He received his MD from Guntur Medical College, in India, and his master's from the University of Alabama. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University and has held fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of South Alabama and Boston University. Dr. Bikkina takes care of patients with various cardiac diseases, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, and the Society of Vascular Medicine. He is chairman of the Human Resources Committee of the Englewood Health Physician Network; director of the NRI Academy of Sciences Medical College and Hospital, India; director of the Aayush Hospitals, India; and president of Heart and Vascular Associates of Northern Jersey.
