Matthew Jung, DO

Dr. Jung specializes in general surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and bariatric surgery. His clinical interests include abdominal hernias, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, diverticulitis, gallbladder disease, gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD), and weight management. Dr. Jung received his DO from Rowan-Virtua University School of Osteopathic Medicine, in Stratford, NJ. He did a general surgery residency at Hackensack Meridian Health–Palisades Medical Center, in North Bergen, and a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Northwell Health–North Shore University Hospital, in Manhasset, NY. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. In addition to English, Dr. Jung is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and speaks medical Spanish. He joined Englewood Health Physician Network in 2024.
