About Ritu Suri, MD

Dr. Suri is chief of family practice at Englewood Hospital. She is board certified in family medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine. She earned her MD from Lady Hardinge Medical College, in New Delhi. She did her internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Elmhurst Hospital and Medical Center, her residency in family medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, and a geriatrics fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Suri specializes in primary care and geriatrics, in particular, the treatment of dementia. She participates in clinical research and has lectured across the region on palliative care and hospice. She is a past president of the Bergen Indian Medical Association and president-elect of NJ Long-Term Care Coalition and NJ American Medical Directors Association (AMDA). She is a member of the American Association of Physician Leaders, New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, and National Assisted Living Committee at the AMDA.
